Itinerary

  • Xin chào! Welcome to Vietnam. Your journey through Vietnam and Cambodia begins with the thrill of new discoveries.

▪️ Upon landing at Noi Bai Airport in Hanoi, you’ll be warmly greeted by your local guide before heading to your hotel for check-in and a chance to refresh.

▪️ The afternoon is yours to start exploring Vietnam’s millennia-old capital at your own pace.

▪️ Begin your adventure with a stroll around Hoan Kiem Lake, the heart of Hanoi. Amid the city’s hustle and bustle, this oasis of calm offers the perfect introduction to the local way of life. Watch residents practicing tai chi along the lake’s edge as the ancient Turtle Tower reflects serenely in the water—a picturesque spot to capture your first memories of Vietnam.

▪️ As the sun sets, dive into the narrow streets of the Old Quarter, where the aromas of street food will entice you. Take a seat on a small plastic stool to savor a steaming bowl of phở, Vietnam’s iconic noodle soup, or indulge in a cup of the famous egg coffee.

    ▪️ Overnight in Hanoi.

    Hanoi, Vietnam

  • ▪️ Start your day with breakfast at the hotel before diving into the rich history and cultural tapestry of Hanoi.

▪️ Begin with a visit to the imposing Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, honoring the Father of the Vietnamese people. Nearby, explore the humble Ho Chi Minh Stilt House, a stark contrast that reflects the revolutionary leader’s modesty. The colonial architecture of the Presidential Palace offers a glimpse into another era.

▪️ Next, visit the One Pillar Pagoda, a uniquely designed structure resembling a lotus rising from the water, and Tran Quoc Pagoda, one of Hanoi’s oldest temples, set peacefully by the tranquil West Lake.

▪️ In the afternoon, prepare for a more poignant experience at the Hoa Lo Prison Museum, infamously known as the "Hanoi Hilton." This site offers a sobering look at a darker chapter in Vietnam’s history.

▪️ Follow this with a visit to the Temple of Literature, Vietnam’s first university. The ancient stone steles and traditional architecture transport you to a golden age of learning and scholarly pursuits.

▪️ Later, enjoy a leisurely walk around Hoan Kiem Lake, where the legend of the turtle and the magical sword comes to life. The Ngoc Son Temple, perched on a small island, appears to float gracefully over the lake’s calm waters.

▪️ Conclude the day with an exhilarating cyclo ride through the Old Quarter. Immerse yourself in a maze of narrow streets, each with its own story and specialty. The scents of spices, the calls of street vendors, and the sight of artisans practicing their crafts create a sensory feast.

    ▪️ Overnight in Hanoi.

Our customers at the Temple of Literature

  • ▪️ After breakfast at the hotel, set out for Halong Bay, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The first glimpse of the bay takes your breath away—a vast expanse of emerald waters dotted with towering karst islands that rise majestically from the sea.

▪️ Upon arrival at the pier, board your home for the night: a traditional wooden junk boat, a replica of ancient Vietnamese vessels. As you step aboard, you’ll marvel at the seamless blend of traditional style and modern comforts.

▪️ Enjoy a sumptuous lunch featuring fresh seafood and Vietnamese specialties as the cruise begins. The afternoon unfolds like a dream as the boat glides past whimsical rock formations, each with its own legend.

▪️ Relax on the deck, letting the sea breeze brush your face as you soak in the surreal scenery. For the adventurous, it’s time for a thrilling kayak excursion, paddling through crystal-clear waters, weaving between imposing rock formations, and exploring hidden coves.

▪️ After kayaking, the boat anchors near a secluded beach, inviting you to take a refreshing swim in Halong Bay’s jade-colored waters. The temperature is perfect, and you’ll float peacefully, surrounded by a landscape that feels almost otherworldly.

▪️ In the late afternoon, the cruise stops near the famous Sung Sot Caves, also known as the Surprising Caves. Disembark and ascend a winding path to the entrance of the caves. Inside, be awed by vast chambers filled with fantastical stalactites and stalagmites.

▪️ Dinner is a feast of local flavors, served under the stars. As you savor each bite, you’ll be enveloped by the tranquility and serenity of the bay, far removed from the city’s hustle and bustle.

    ▪️ Overnight on board.

    Ha Long Bay

  • ▪️ Wake up before sunrise and start your day with an energizing Tai Chi session on the deck. Let your movements flow in harmony with the gentle waves of Halong Bay, grounding yourself in the serene energy of this magical place.

▪️ After the session, enjoy a delightful breakfast on board, with the aroma of freshly brewed coffee and warm pastries setting the tone for the morning. The rest of the morning is yours to relax and take in the final enchanting views of Halong Bay.

▪️ Around 11 a.m., bid farewell to the bay with a mix of nostalgia and anticipation for the adventures ahead. Transfer back to Hanoi, where you’ll board a flight to Danang.

▪️ Upon arrival in Danang, your local guide will greet you with a warm smile and transfer you to Hoi An.

▪️ Arrive in Hoi An at sunset, just as the lanterns begin to light up the streets of the ancient town, casting a magical glow.

▪️ After checking in at your hotel, enjoy free time to take a short stroll through the nearby streets. The enticing aroma of local cuisine mingles with the sweet scent of jasmine flowers, creating a sensory feast. Admire the craft shops, historic houses, and illuminated temples, offering a tantalizing glimpse of what awaits you tomorrow.

    ▪️ Overnight in Hoi An.

The iconic Golden Bridge in Da Nang

▪️ Your first stop is the iconic Japanese Covered Bridge, over 400 years old and a testament to the Japanese influence on the city.

▪️ Next, visit the Phuc Kien Assembly Hall, a stunning example of Chinese architecture in Hoi An. Intricate carvings, statues of deities, and spiraling incense add an air of mysticism and devotion to the experience.

▪️ Continue to the Tan Ky Ancient House, a traditional merchant’s home offering a glimpse into the affluent lifestyle of Hoi An’s historic trading families. Marvel at the fusion of Vietnamese, Chinese, and Japanese architectural styles and the enduring resilience of these homes.

▪️ The cultural journey concludes at the Sa Huynh History Museum, where you’ll learn about Hoi An’s origins and its evolution as a cultural crossroads. Ancient artifacts bring to life the city’s rich history and importance in regional trade.

▪️ The afternoon is free for you to explore at your own pace. Relax on the nearby beaches of An Bang or Cua Dai, soaking up the warm sun and the refreshing waters of the South China Sea. Alternatively, immerse yourself in the bustling Central Market, where the aromas of spices and vibrant colors of tropical fruits captivate the senses.

▪️ For shoppers, Hoi An is a paradise. Tailor shops offer custom-made clothing ready in hours, while art galleries showcase the works of local artists. Consider ordering a silk dress or a traditional Vietnamese outfit as a unique memento of your journey.

▪️ As evening falls, the city transforms into a wonderland. Thousands of lanterns light up, casting a warm and magical glow over the streets. Take a peaceful stroll along the Thu Bon River, perhaps enjoying a cup of Vietnamese coffee at a riverside café.

    ▪️ Overnight in Hoi An.

Embracing the timeless charm and romance of Hoi An

  • ▪️ After breakfast, bid farewell to the enchanting Hoi An, taking with you memories of its lantern-lit streets and unique atmosphere.

▪️ Embark on a scenic road journey to Hue, with stops along the way that make the trip an experience in itself. The first highlight is the famous Hai Van Pass, also known as the “Ocean of Clouds.” As your vehicle ascends the winding curves, the breathtaking landscape unfolds like a living painting.

▪️ Descend the pass to the picturesque Lang Co Beach, where golden sands meet crystal-clear waters. A brief photo stop here offers the perfect snapshot of central Vietnam’s natural beauty, with the blue sea, green mountains, and golden shoreline creating a stunning palette.

▪️ Before reaching Hue, stop at the Cham Museum, where you’ll delve into the history of the ancient Cham civilization. Admire the intricate sculptures and bas-reliefs that provide valuable insight into the region’s rich cultural tapestry.

▪️ Upon arrival in Hue, check in to your hotel and take a moment to refresh before the afternoon’s exploration.

▪️ Next, visit the Mausoleum of Emperor Khai Dinh, a stark contrast to the earlier site. Its blend of Eastern and Western architectural styles reflects a transitional period in Vietnam’s history. Inside, marvel at intricate mosaics of porcelain and glass, each detail a masterpiece of artistry.

▪️ As the sun sets, return to your hotel. The evening is yours to explore Hue at your leisure, perhaps taking a tranquil stroll along the Perfume River.

    ▪️ Overnight in Hue.

The Imperial City of Hue is illuminated by night

  • ▪️ Start your day with breakfast at the hotel before heading to the Perfume River pier, whose evocative name conjures images of a romantic bygone era. Board a traditional boat and glide along the calm waters as the morning mist slowly lifts, revealing serene landscapes.

▪️ Your first stop is the iconic Thien Mu Pagoda, which stands majestically by the riverbank. ▪️ Arriving in Ben Tre, known as the “land of coconuts,” board a boat that takes you deep into the heart of the delta. Narrow canals lined with lush, vibrant greenery transport you to a world where life flows with the rhythm of the waterways.

▪️ Sample freshly harvested exotic fruits like mango, dragon fruit, and jackfruit from local orchards. The sweet and refreshing flavors, paired with your guide’s insights into traditional farming techniques, create a delightful experience.

▪️ Visit a family-run brick factory to learn about this age-old craft that remains vital to the local economy. Next, stop at a coconut candy workshop to observe the production process and taste these famous treats.

▪️ After a delicious lunch, experience two traditional modes of local transport. First, hop on a Xe Loi, a motorized cart that takes you along rural paths, offering an intimate view of life in the delta. Then, switch to a rowing boat to navigate narrow, shaded canals, where dense vegetation forms a natural green tunnel above.

▪️ Return to Ho Chi Minh City and continue with a panoramic city tour. Pass by the iconic Reunification Palace, a powerful symbol of Vietnam’s recent history. Stop at the Notre Dame Cathedral, a striking example of neo-Romanesque architecture, and the Central Post Office, designed by Gustave Eiffel, which impresses with its grandeur and colonial elegance.

▪️ Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.

Rowing through the serene waters of the Mekong Delta

  • ▪️ After breakfast at the hotel, prepare for your final adventure in Vietnam before heading to Cambodia. Your guide will pick you up early for the journey to the famous Cu Chi Tunnels, located about 70 kilometers from Ho Chi Minh City.

▪️ At Cu Chi, delve into an immersive experience that transports you to one of the most complex chapters of Vietnam’s history. This vast underground network, stretching over 250 kilometers, played a critical role in the Vietnamese resistance during the war.

▪️ Explore hidden traps that protected the tunnels, see replicas of underground kitchens, and visit camouflaged command centers. For an even deeper understanding, you can try shooting era-specific weapons at a controlled firing range, offering a glimpse into the harsh realities of the conflict.

▪️ In the afternoon, transfer to the airport for your flight to Siem Reap, Cambodia.

▪️ Explore Phimeanakas, the celestial palace, and envision life in the Khmer royal court. Continue to the Terrace of the Elephants, a 350-meter-long platform where kings once watched parades and ceremonies. The Terrace of the Leper King, with its intricate carvings, leaves a lasting impression with its mysterious aura.

▪️ After lunch, re-energized, visit Ta Prohm, where nature and architecture exist in dramatic harmony. Towering silk-cotton trees rise above the ruins, their sprawling roots snaking through the stone walls in a breathtaking display of nature reclaiming its territory.

▪️ The highlight of the day is the iconic Angkor Wat, the largest and best-preserved temple in the complex. As you cross the stone causeway over the moat, the temple’s symmetry and intricate details leave you in awe.

▪️ Climb the steep steps to the central sanctuary for a breathtaking experience, both from the physical effort and the stunning view of the vast temple complex. Standing atop this masterpiece, you’ll marvel at the ingenuity and ambition of the Khmer builders.

    ▪️ Overnight in Siem Reap.

    Exploring the Wonders of Angkor

  • ▪️ After breakfast at the hotel, set out for Tonle Sap Lake, the aquatic heart of Cambodia. Along the way, your guide will explain the vital importance of this lake to the country’s ecosystem and economy. Remarkably, its size expands from 2,600 km² to an astounding 25,000 km² during the rainy season.

▪️ Upon arrival at the pier, board a local boat and watch as the landscape transforms. Trees gradually give way to vast expanses of water, and soon you are surrounded by an endless aquatic horizon.

▪️ As you navigate further, distant structures begin to come into view. Arrive at Kompong Phluk, a floating village where houses rise on towering wooden stilts, some as high as 8 meters.

▪️ Glide through the "streets" of this extraordinary village, observing daily life unfold around you: children playing in small boats, women cooking in floating kitchens, and fishermen mending their nets. It’s a fascinating glimpse into a world entirely adapted to life on the water.

▪️ After this unique experience, return to dry land with a deeper appreciation for human resilience and adaptability.

▪️ The afternoon is free for you to explore Siem Reap at your leisure. Consider visiting the lively Night Market, where you’ll find a variety of local crafts and souvenirs. The vibrant atmosphere, coupled with the enticing aromas of street food, offers a final immersion into Cambodian culture.
