▪️After breakfast, visit the ancient Khmer civilization site of Hariharalaya, which flourished in the late 9th and early 10th centuries. These are the earliest temples in the Angkor area and are referred to as the Roluos group. The three Roluos temples are Bakong Temple Mountain with wonderful carvings on the false doors and lintels, the funerary temple of Preah Ko, Lolei Temple with the Roluos group’s most exquisite carvings and inscriptions.

▪️ Your family will take a fun ride across the countryside to the Roluos group, learn about local villages and different aspects of life. Delving into the local community is truly an exhilarating and eye-opening experience to see Siem Reap from the other point of view. This allows the whole family to get out in the fresh air, see local village life, and work off some energy.

▪️ In the afternoon, the tour will then continue to some distant temples, including the beautiful temple of Banteay Srei which was built in the late 10th century and was dedicated to the Hindu God. Banteay Srei basically means “citadel of the women” and Banteay Srei has some of the best carvings of all the temples.
▪️ On the way, your family will stop at Preah Dak village for a short tour, enjoying observing the real-life Cambodian in this area, how they make a living from the hand-made products, and how to produce sugar palm and fruit itself, which can be an engaging cultural experience for the kids.
▪️ Then, visit Banteay Samre, built in the third quarter of the 12th century.
▪️ End of this afternoon, return back to your hotel.

▪️ In the evening, treat the whole family with some modern Khmer theatre at a performance of Phare, the Cambodian Circus by professional artists from Phare Ponleu Selpak. Enjoy an hour-long show which is a great, positive example of modern Cambodia and mixes theatre, dance, music, juggling and contortion.

▪️ We have designed and built a demonstration area where the HeroRATs will sniff out buried items, scratch at the surface to indicate they’ve found something to trainers and of course receive a tasty treat as a reward. This unique and educational activity is sure to fascinate the whole family.

The exquisite sculptures in the beautiful temple of Banteay Srei

▪️ Today, visit the antique capital of Angkor Thom: the South Gate with its huge statues depicting the churning of the ocean of milk, the Bayon Temple, unique for its 54 towers decorated with over 200 smiling faces of Avolokitesvara, the Phimeanakas, the Royal Enclosure, the Elephants Terrace and the Terrace of the Leper King.
▪️ Then, visit Ta Prohm, one of the area’s most beautiful temples. Ta Prohm has been relatively untouched since it was discovered and retains much of its mystery. Kids can have loads of fun playing hide-and-seek within the many nooks and crevasses.

▪️ In the afternoon, visit the most famous of all the temples on the plain of Angkor: Angkor Wat. The temple complex covers 81 hectares and is comparable in size to the Imperial Palace in Beijing. Its distinctive five towers are emblazoned on the Cambodian flag and the 12th century masterpiece is considered by art historians to be the prime example of classical Khmer art and architecture. Visiting Angkor Wat with kids is a true gift for them as they can learn about Cambodia’s history and culture.

▪️ After breakfast in the hotel, your family will be picked up to visit Tonle Sap Lake, Kampong Phluk floating village, a cluster of three villages of stilted houses built within the floodplain about 16 km southeast of Siem Reap.
▪️ On this tour, we will see religious buildings (Kampong Phluk pagoda), government school, police station on water, stilts houses, fishing material, flooded forest and Tonle Sap Lake. Next, we continue our tour to see women demonstrate how to prepare traditional smoked fish, dried river shrimp, and fish.

▪️ This afternoon, with your guide and driver, road to Battambang.
▪️ Along the way, we continue our tour to visit West Baray Lake, is a baray, or reservoir, at Angkor, Cambodia, oriented east–west and located just west of the walled city Angkor Thom. Rectangular in shape and measuring approximately 7.8 by 2.1 kilometers, the West Baray is the largest baray at Angkor and one of the largest hand cut water reservoirs on Earth, possessing a current maximum capacity of 12 to 14 billion gallons of water (53 million m3).
▪️ Arrival at Battambang at the end of afternoon and then, transfer directly to the hotel for the check-in. Battambang is the second city of Cambodia with some of the best-preserved architecture which was constructed during the French period. Your family can watch the local people plant vegetables and fish along the riverbank of Stung Sangker. Discover the city of Battambang, a charming big city where all family members can see elegant houses in the French colonial style along the river.

▪️ In the morning, discover the real Cambodia’s lifestyle. For this occasion, you will be taking the Tuk Tuk off the beaten track to explore the local life of the people of the hinterland. Along the way, the kids will be fascinated to see traditional houses, rice paddies, and craftspeople at work.
▪️ Get hands-on by participating in activities like making sticky rice or learning the secrets of Prahok (fermented fish paste) - a staple of Cambodian cuisine. These interactive experiences will be both fun and educational for the whole family.
▪️ Then, discover Wat Ek Phnom, built in the 11th century and covered by vegetation. This temple is notable for its murals depicting Buddha.

▪️ In the afternoon, continue your tour with a ride on a bamboo train. Each bamboo train - known in Khmer as a Nori-consists of a 3 meter-long wooden frame, covered lengthwise with slats made of ultra-light bamboo that rests on two, barbell like bogies, one of which is connected by fan belts to a gasoline engine.
▪️ In the evening, we proceed to Phnom Sampeau where the caves of the massacre are and a small temple; that is, the serenity and the inhumanity exist together in a single place. Although Phnom Sampov has a tragic past it is also a pleasant place to visit. The panoramic views from the top are truly breathtaking and there are a variety of food and drink stalls at the base of the mountain making it a great place to while away the hours.
▪️ Every evening at nightfall thousands of bats make their way out of caves in the hillside to feed before returning at dawn. This natural phenomenon really is a must see for the visitor.

▪️ This morning, your family will visit the ancient and Khmer typical house at Wat Kor Village.
▪️ Then, depart from Battambang by road to Phnom Penh. The trip will take around 6-7 hours. On the way, visit Kampong Chhnang, known for its traditional pottery.

▪️ Then, we proceed to Oudong, the former royal capital of Cambodia, to take a ride on a wagon pulled by oxen around the city. Then we climb to the summit of the mountain Oudong enjoy magnificent views of the valley below while the guide explains the history of the land and its buildings as well as the religious culture of the Cambodians.
▪️ At the end of the afternoon, your family will arrive at Phnom Penh, then be transferred to the hotel for check-in.

Oudong, the former royal capital of Cambodia

▪️ This morning, visit the Royal Palace, built by King Norodom in 1866 on the site of the old town, and the Silver Pagoda, located within the grounds of the Royal Palace, the Silver Pagoda is so named because of its floor, which is made up of 5000 silver tiles.
▪️ Then continue your visit at the National Museum, this is one of Phnom Penh’s true architectural gems. All family members will love exploring the various exhibits and displays.
▪️ After that, explore Wat Phnom, a peaceful temple situated on a hill for which the city is named. According to legend, a 14th- century woman named Penh found sacred Buddhist objects in the nearby river and placed them here on the small hill.
▪️ Option: Champey Academy of Arts
▪️ Champey Academy of Arts where traditional drawing, music and dance are taught. Enjoy watching the young students practice classical Apsara dancing. The Academy is a local NGO that seeks to preserve traditional arts on a free basis for poor students and a visit is sure to put a smile on your face as you see how the children seek to improve their lives by being artistically creative.

▪️ This afternoon, head out to the Choeung Ek Memorial, where a stupa made up of some 8,000 human skulls marks the site of the infamous Killing Fields. This was the execution ground for the torture victims of TuolSleng and standing in this peaceful setting its almost unthinkable to imagine that to date nearly 9000 corpses have been exhumed from the area.
▪️ Then, take a breather at the Russian Market. You’ll have time to spend here browsing the maze of alleys and street stalls teeming with all manner of souvenirs, trinkets, fabrics, statuary, and more. Your guide can help you to purchase snacks, such as sticky rice with banana, outside the domed market.

▪️ Option: 1 hour sunset cruise
▪️ Enjoy a relaxing Mekong River cruise seeing life along the riverside before returning to the Tonle Sap River and cruising to watch the sun setting over the Phnom Penh skyline. Cruises are on a shared basis onboard a cruise boat with unique catamaran design to ensure a comfortable trip and last for 1 hour. The beautiful views will definitely be a hit with the whole family.

1. Tour Cancellations by you
For any cancellation after confirmation and deposit, 10% of the total cost is applied per person the administrative fee plus other charges by hotels, airlines, and other contractors of Viet Prestige Travel.
If cancellation is made after full payment has been made, we will hold a full credit to be used for further bookings (less any charges levied by hotels, or carriers). The following rules apply for cancellations:
Cancellation Policy
▪️ Between 65 and 45 before departure: 20% of total tour cost
▪️ Between 44 and 35 days before departure: 30% of the total tour cost
▪️ Between 34 and 15 days before departure: 50% of the total tour cost
▪️ Between 14 and 7 days before departure: 80% of the total tour cost
▪️ 7 days or less before departure: 100% of total tour cost

2. Cancellations not by you
We are always committed to making our best effort to operate all tours as planned. However, due to factors out of our control, it may be necessary to use alternative accommodation and services in some instances. We therefore reserve the right to modify or cancel any tour, accommodation or arrangement at any time. We will notify you as soon as possible of any material changes. In the event of any material modification or cancellation we will, if possible, arrange on your behalf three alternatives:
▪️ services of an equivalent or similar standard, if available;
▪️ any of a lower standard together with a refund of the difference in price;
▪️ cancellation with a full refund of all money paid.
In unexpected cases, we have to cancel the tour no later than 30 days before the scheduled departure date, whereupon all money paid by you for the tour shall be refunded but no further compensation will be paid. You and Viet Prestige Travel agree to release each other from any further obligations that would have been enforceable had the tour not been canceled.

▪️ Children from 5 to 7 years old: 50% Adult’s tour price/ sharing existing bed with parents, 75% Adult’s domestic airfare
▪️ Children from 7 to under 11 years old: 75% Adult’s tour price/ sharing existing bed with parents, 75% Adult’s domestic airfare
▪️ Above 11 years old: Charged as adults

Please note that some suppliers may impose additional fees for infants and children. These will be advised at the time of booking.
In order to guarantee your booking, ideally the deposit of 30% must be paid in advance. The second deposit of 50% must be paid 45 days before departure and the full balance could be paid in USD Cash on arrival.
Payments are to be made according to our invoices only and should be executed by cash, credit card, bank transfer or Onepay. Any bank charges levied by the sending bank relating to transfers to Viet Prestige Travel must be paid by the Clients.
We strongly recommend that you take out insurance which should include cover against the cost of cancellation by you and assistance (including repatriation) in the event of accident or illness.
