Itinerary
▪️ Hanoi, the capital city of Vietnam, is known for its lakes, tree-lined streets, and lush public parks. Visit Hanoi to immerse yourself in its rich cultural heritage, explore the Old Quarter, savor delectable Vietnamese dishes, and discover other captivating attractions.
▪️ When you arrive at Noi Bai Airport in Hanoi, our guide and driver from Viet Prestige will greet you and take you to your hotel, where you can unwind after your journey.

Hanoi city view at night▪️ Today, at 8:30 AM, we begin our journey through Hanoi, visiting the prominent landmark, the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum (closed on Mondays and Fridays). This grand marble and granite structure faces Ba Dinh Square. We then stroll along the path to the One Pillar Pagoda, which rises from the center of a square lotus pond, standing on a single pillar and resembling a blooming lotus flower.
▪️ Next, we head to the Tran Quoc Pagoda, situated on a small peninsula on the eastern side of Hanoi's West Lake. Known as the oldest pagoda in Hanoi, its history stretches back over 1,500 years. The architecture of this Buddhist site beautifully blends solemnity with the serene landscape of West Lake. Nearby is Quan Thanh Temple, dedicated to Tran Vu, the Taoist Deity of the North, symbolized by a serpent and a turtle. This temple, along with three others in Hanoi, forms the Four Sacred Temples (Thang Long Tu Tran), which safeguard the city from evil spirits.
▪️ We then proceed to the Temple of Literature, Vietnam’s first university, built in the 11th century. The gardens and well-preserved architecture provide a peaceful glimpse into Vietnam's past. This temple honors Confucius and celebrates Vietnam’s most esteemed scholars.
▪️ Afterwards, we visit Hanoi’s Old Quarter, also known as the ‘36 streets’. Enjoy a walking tour through the charming Hang Be Market and around Hoan Kiem Lake. This vibrant area of narrow streets and alleys is teeming with thousands of small businesses and shops. It's an excellent place for exploration and photography.

Our customers enjoying memorable moments at Hanoi's iconic sites▪️ Leaving Hanoi behind, we embark on a 2.5-hour drive through the rural landscapes of northern Vietnam to reach Ninh Binh Province, renowned for its stunning karst mountains, misty caves, and historical sites. The picturesque rice fields in this area have earned it the nickname ‘Halong Bay on land’.
▪️ Upon arrival, we visit the ancient capital of Hoa Lu, the center of the first three centralized feudal states of Vietnam: the Dinh, Le, and Ly dynasties. Next, we board a sampan for a 1.5-hour boat trip along a small canal amidst the paddy fields for 1km, visiting Tam Coc—meaning three caves—formed by the Ngo Dong River flowing through a mountain. The boat ride takes us through these caves, surrounded by towering mountain views and beautiful waterways lined with rice paddies.

Golden Bridge in Danang ▪️ Transfer to Cam Thanh fishing village, where you will meet local fishermen and immerse yourself in their daily life. They will warmly welcome you with refreshments including water, coconut, and fresh fruit juice.
▪️ Embark on a bamboo basket boat on the waters of Cam Thanh and receive a brief introduction to its history. Enjoy a hands-on experience with both round-net and cast-net fishing. Learn to navigate the unique Vietnamese bamboo basket boat as you sail along the water coconut river.
▪️ Your private driver will then take you back to Hoi An.
▪️ In the afternoon, enjoy a leisurely walking tour to discover the charming town of Hoi An. Visit the historic 400-year-old Japanese Bridge, originally built by Japanese traders in the 1590s to connect with the Chinese quarters. Explore the Phung Hung House, a beautiful blend of Japanese and Chinese architectural styles, and continue to the Phuc Kien Assembly Hall, one of Hoi An’s renowned halls dedicated to Thien Hau, the sea goddess. Around town, you’ll find numerous art galleries and tailor shops, offering bespoke clothing if desired.

We traverse the Hai Van Pass, where you can take in the breathtaking views. Upon arrival in Hue, check-in at your hotel and relax at your leisure.

Hoi An chicken rice, a perfect fusion of Vietnamese cuisine▪️ Today, we begin our city tour with a visit to the Imperial Citadel, a walled fortress designed to mirror the Chinese Emperors’ Forbidden City in Beijing. Entering through the Ngo Mon Gate, we explore the Purple Forbidden City, which served as the exclusive residence for the Nguyen royal family from the 18th century until the mid-1900s. Although the American bombing in 1968 during the communist takeover of Hue destroyed much of the city, several structures remain, such as the Thai Hoa Temple, Can Thanh Temple, The Mieu, and Hieu Lam Cac, making the visit exceptionally worthwhile.
▪️ In the afternoon, we enjoy a serene one-hour boat trip on the Perfume River, followed by a visit to the Khai Dinh Tombs, renowned for their unique and ancient architecture. Lastly, we visit a traditional village to witness the craftsmanship behind the making of conical hats and incense sticks.

Hue cuisine always attracts international tourists▪️ Enjoy breakfast at the hotel. At around 8:30 AM, our private car and tour guide will pick you up for the day's exploration. We begin with a visit to the Reunification Palace, the former residence of the President of South Vietnam until April 1975. Nearby, you will admire some of the finest French colonial architecture, including the Notre Dame Cathedral and the Old Saigon Post Office.
▪️ Next, we continue to the renowned Cu Chi Tunnels, an extraordinary underground network built by Vietnamese fighters during their long struggle for independence. These tunnels housed hospitals, accommodations, schools, and served as a military base for the Vietcong during the American war.
▪️ Return to Ho Chi Minh City for an overnight stay.

▪️ Upon arrival at Chet Say Pier, board a boat to explore the legendary Balai River. Witness the vibrant activities along the waterway, including cargo boats, fishing vessels, various fish traps, and coconut processing handicraft factories on land.
▪️ Visit a coconut candy mill, observe locals handcrafting candies, sample some sweets, and enjoy fresh fruits along the way. Take a short walk along paths to a nearby traditional handicraft village. Here, you'll see coconut charcoal ovens where products are made from coconut shells, and learn about the stages of coconut processing from husking to peeling by hand in local factories. Marvel at the traditional brickwork and observe the brick-making process by hand.
▪️ Continue your boat journey through canals winding through a coconut jungle, lined with palm and mangrove trees.
▪️ Hop on a tuk-tuk or bike through the coconut grove, deep in the coconut jungle. Stop for lunch at a local restaurant, relax, and then continue by rowing boat along a shady palm tree canal.
▪️ Boat back to the pier, rejoin your car, and transfer back to Saigon for an overnight stay.
The traditional basket-weaving crafts of the Mekong Delta▪️ Today, enjoy your leisure time until your private van, accompanied by a guide, transfers you to the airport for your flight back to your home country. The booking information you provide to us will be passed on only to the relevant suppliers of your travel arrangements or other persons necessary to provide your travel arrangements. The information may therefore be provided to public authorities such as customs or immigration if required by them, or as required by law. This applies to any sensitive information that you give to us such as details of any disabilities, or dietary requirements. In making this booking, you consent to this information being passed on to the relevant persons.
Notes: Cancellations of Mekong Cruises and Halong Bay Cruises are different based on the cruise company’s policy, date of booking and price. Kindly get exact cancellations from our travel consultants when you make a booking with us.
1. Tour Cancellations by you
For any cancellation after confirmation and deposit, 10% of the total cost is applied per person the administrative fee plus other charges by hotels, airlines, and other contractors of Viet Prestige Travel.
If cancellation is made after full payment has been made, we will hold a full credit to be used for further bookings (less any charges levied by hotels, or carriers). The following rules apply for cancellations:
Cancellation Policy
▪️ Between 65 and 45 before departure: 20% of total tour cost
▪️ Between 44 and 35 days before departure: 30% of the total tour cost
▪️ Between 34 and 15 days before departure: 50% of the total tour cost
▪️ Between 14 and 7 days before departure: 80% of the total tour cost
▪️ 7 days or less before departure: 100% of total tour cost
Notes: Cancellations of Mekong Cruises and Halong Bay Cruises are different based on the cruise company’s policy, date of booking and price. Kindly get exact cancellations from our travel consultants when you make a booking with us.
2. Cancellations not by you
We are always committed to making our best effort to operate all tours as planned. However, due to factors out of our control, it may be necessary to use alternative accommodation and services in some instances. We therefore reserve the right to modify or cancel any tour, accommodation or arrangement at any time. We will notify you as soon as possible of any material changes. In the event of any material modification or cancellation we will, if possible, arrange on your behalf three alternatives:
▪️ services of an equivalent or similar standard, if available;
▪️ any of a lower standard together with a refund of the difference in price;
▪️ cancellation with a full refund of all money paid.
In unexpected cases, we have to cancel the tour no later than 30 days before the scheduled departure date, whereupon all money paid by you for the tour shall be refunded but no further compensation will be paid. You and Viet Prestige Travel agree to release each other from any further obligations that would have been enforceable had the tour not been canceled.
All prices are in United States Dollars ($) unless otherwise indicated. Please note that prices quoted are subject to change. Price changes may occur because of matters outside our control which increase the cost of the services that we arrange on your behalf

▪️ Children under 2 years old: Free of charge tour price/ sharing existing bed with parents, 10% Adult’s domestic airfare
▪️ Children from 5 to 7 years old: 50% Adult’s tour price/ sharing existing bed with parents, 75% Adult’s domestic airfare
▪️ Children from 7 to under 11 years old: 75% Adult’s tour price/ sharing existing bed with parents, 75% Adult’s domestic airfare
▪️ Above 11 years old: Charged as adults
Air tickets: Airline child price policy applied
Please note that some suppliers may impose additional fees for infants and children. These will be advised at the time of booking.
In order to guarantee your booking, ideally the deposit of 30% must be paid in advance. The second deposit of 50% must be paid 45 days before departure and the full balance could be paid in USD Cash on arrival.
Payments are to be made according to our invoices only and should be executed by cash, credit card, bank transfer or Onepay. Any bank charges levied by the sending bank relating to transfers to Viet Prestige Travel must be paid by the Clients.
We strongly recommend that you take out insurance which should include cover against the cost of cancellation by you and assistance (including repatriation) in the event of accident or illness.
